In his 'Contents of Volume 30' (page 6370) Laves lists:
"3. Linguistic notes & body-part list of Anjumarla tribe in vicinity of Wave Hill Station. Strong Southern affinities. Body parts somewhat southern. Phonetics southern. Morphology very Southern."

 The language recorded by Laves is very similar to Gurindji (in which there is a suffix -marla 'denizen of').
