1882–95 Willshire

'In the country between the overland telegraph line and the West Australian boundary, that is all that part north of the 22° parallel of latitude, no white man is safe.' (Willshire 1896:25)

William Henry Willshire (1852–1925) was a police officer in the Northern Territory 1882–1895.
